The ol Akron-Hed got a little more complete today. The new cast aluminum intake manifold was delivered and lines up perfectly! Now to do the machine work and get er all bolted together

 

Parts slowly coming in.

Now, would it be cool to have an intake/adapter to mate one of those new Frenzel superchargers to an early 4 (A/T, Chevrolet, AND/OR Dodge Fast Four)...

 

Manifold machine work DUN!

 

I received and installed the needle and seat from Mike’s Carburetor in my stromberg 81. It’s been a full day and so far, so good. No signs of leaking and the coupe starts with just a bump of the starter even after sitting for a coupe of hours (i.e. no flooding situation). I haven’t installed the other new parts yet. I want to ensure I know specifically what the fix action was/is. I’ll give this some time before I declare victory.
