I did this some years back. If you search "Chero" you'll find discussions about what a great truck this is and the person who built it has some skill. Sad to say I built it but only in my mind. image001.jpg

Yeah, I've been missing them too. Maybe your post here will move the thread up so people will see that we are still here, waiting for someone who is mulling over the idea of adding flames or something to their pride and joy....

Well, since TheMoose seems bored, here is the current hammer, cut weld project in my shop. Hadn’t planned any photoshop work so no good pics. Chop and drop is the plan if he wants to mess with or not 444FBB3C-0BAD-4D31-8A17-1A3BF9096C0D.jpeg 89B30C80-BA6C-4373-90EA-659E4F5DF88F.jpeg 7E5CD7E7-9E36-44E1-98E2-E37B1EFDF303.jpeg

If only I could work as fast as you do. I had a 3 week goal on this project but my day job and fixing the roof took too much of my time. Looks good to me though.

That looks like the very best chop distance. Now if it will translate.

He actually even has the windshield tipped back like I had contemplated. Not sure about the windshield tipped back. The rest of it I do dig. Probably going to be a longer cat walk instead of the longer decklid like the photo shop though.

Okay, this one shouldn’t be too difficult.

I’d like to see the rallye wheels painted white, but leave the chrome hubcaps. With black wall tires, as well as 1” whitewalls.

I’ve seen this done on another ‘63 Lark but the car was a different color. Having a hard time picturing it with the gold paint.

    Thanks in advance!

this without the rocker trim and the body trim down the side, same color. And wire wheels, feel free to play with something else as you see fit.

Thanks unclebrad.. I like that a lot more than I thought I would.

Could you do the whitewall on the chrome wheel? Thanks again!

No offense to anybody, just me.....
Wheels and tires are just too small on this car.

  29. no offense taken, I’m happy, they are the stock size or awe fully close to it.

Can we try one eliminating the side trim all together? Thanks!
