Looking forward to the weekend! I thiiiiiiiink I finally have the bugs worked out of the new motor in the Chevy and will get to drive it over. I'll have bailing wire and a vicegrips in the trunk just in case though... lol

I've been doing home improvement projects for the last 6 to 9 months. Got a new pup, had to put up a fence to contain her, front door rotted out so had to put a new one in, and then had stone put around the front door inside and out, then had to build a patio cover over the front door, that led to rock gardens and the list goes on and on.....I spent the last few evenings in the shop cleaning up the little piles and boxes of "ill put these tools up later" from all the projects....I recently found out that we wont be returning to the office until after the first of the year so I am going to move my work computers out in the shop so I can do double duty!
Wish I had your optimism as I look at the Merc. scattered all over the garage floor getting ready to go to the blaster! More realistic to make this show next year! Really hope you have a great time, 2 of my sons and I will be sweating to death at Luckenrod while you are mellowing out!
Had a blast last year. Highly recommend to any one considering going. But not in the cards for me this year. I know I'll regret it ... but recovering from mild case of the C19, energy is just sapped a bit still.
Well, I ordered my shirts. I guess I can walk around and be a poser. At least I’ll look good doing it though.

Im sure everyone has heard the passing of Donna Starbird. Please be praying for the family and many friends. So Friday we will not be having our cruise to the Starbird museum. Again keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

I really hope that I can get a good start on my Merc and a better handle on taking time off in the next couple of years. What you have going on looks like just the kind of event I would love to travel for! I hope the turnout is good, an everyone has a great time!
sad to say I do t have anything yet. The community and surrounding towns are having a 100 mile garage sale. Always a lot of good deals out there. Couple If years ago I picked up a Lyons wheel cover. If I can come up with something I’ll let you know.

Yes we are a little bit longer than a long road trip. I’m wanting to head west some day. I keep stopping in Colorado. I guess I’m scared of the mountains. A black one would be killer. How can one buy one from you? Also, don’t be skeered of the mountains! If you time things right you could come out and hit one of the big shows like Santa Maria or the Grand National Show in Pomona in January.
Other things to do?? Last year my wife and I had a nice visit to Pawhuska OK, and some tasty food for breakfast, lunch and dessert ... (ice cream at Charlie's)
