  2. I thought so too…i bought the set of 4 first for $75.00..1 of the 2 wider reversed wheels was a little rough, but couldn't pass them up, my friend said “i wonder if those other 2 are still there, they were, and literally brand new, guy says make me an offer, I don’t wanna take em home. I said 25 bucks, he said “sounds good I’m sick of moving em..I came home and sprayed some all purpose cleaner on em, little steel wool, and rinsed them off…really nice shape, and I think a killer score..

This 61 is amazing... I would be looking for a three on the tree shifter with a nice low compression big block...

  13. Lurker Mick, that's a good look. What wheels are those? Original or aftermarket?

  14. Thanks, they're Wheel Vintiques, they have to have the outer nubs to accept the 10" hub caps.

for an early to mid 60s Chevrolet… The second best wheel is a chrome reverse. The only thing better is factory stock station wagon wheel on an impala and a dog dish.

WOW!!! What a deal! I'm usually on the seller end of good deals myself.. But this el Camino I have now I got a good deal on so maybe things are changing.. Your 61 was a nice car and having the big block already makes it an even better deal..

  21. Yea, I need to get some chrome dust caps for my hubs on my car. They look kinda crappy as-is. We put those on my sons pickup and I like the look with those instead of any center caps.

Oh that will be fun to air up those rears! I had a set of 5 spoke ET wheels built once for a Camaro show car I owned; I had the air valves hidden behind one of the spokes. Looked like a good idea.

  25. I have a really low car that I built wheels for. I put the valve stems on the inside. Ah, yea, that seemed like a good idea at the time....

I tried a set on my coupe but I eventually went with black wheels and white walls. It looked ok, but I guess I just wanted an earlier look.
