Event Coverage Bonneville Live Radio

For several years there's been a gentleman who has broadcast live from the starting line and has been good about giving speeds, updates, etc. Can't seem to find him this year? Can anyone help?

The feed was all messed up today, Slim is taking his gear back to the hotel tonight and try and fix it, the Meridex software decided it needed to upgrade a second time

 

Seldom Heard Slim was having some technical problems today...or maybe it was me! Looking forward to their audio tomorrow, though!
Was watching the starting line video feed below and listening to Slim today.

I think both, or at least here for me! Sometimes it would be dead air, which happens, then it would try to refresh itself.

I am sure he was reading the tech sheet, as it was Ferguson's Liner, with Danny Thompson at the controls. It's a late model Chrysler derivative, with a set of Don's valve covers. I think Danny went 370 or so.

 

I remember seeing that car on the salt in 2016. I don't know if it was the owner or a crew member, but he saw the puzzled look on my face when I saw what appeared to be a gen 2 Mopar hemi that said ARDUN on the rocker covers. A brief conversation ensued. I was still puzzled. I think he said they make them.

There’s only been one day! Saturday…You want it fast? You go up and VOLUNTEER to upload the run sheets when the tower completes them long after everyone has left the salt. They will be back at 6:00 am tomorrow morning to start timing at 7:00 am every day for a week.

 

Did Danny get the record today ?

I try to listen but every time Ron opens his mouth I gotta shut it off. Maybe it is the former DJ in me but it is like fingernails on a chalkboard
