    On August 18th. I'm going in for hip replacement surgery. I won't be able to get upstairs to my computer to start the Art Show on 8/20, 8/27 and maybe the next week. It would be nice if someone would volunteer to start the show. It would be great to have one person do it so we don't get multiple shows. Anyone??

    Even though I am still a relative newbie here, I try to never miss the Friday art show, start at 9:00 PM West coast time, so good luck on the hip surgery @57 Corvette ~ Bob , I am sure there are enough of us here, that are regular,s that will watch the time slot and make sure the show continues.

    :rolleyes:...This was a sorry Specimen of a 1947ish Chevrolet I encountered in this Rust Belt of Ontario.ca and even in such dilapidation there are elements that still deliver near day of assembly message in styling...I often refer to Aviation influencing Hotrod/Custom but how about Art Deco and Locomotive Speeding Bullet Punching into the Day... Stylemaster...the cool connection is period GM Locomotive...I wonder if the Trim Designer was thinking Space Age Train that day back in 46/7...

    Happy Dual Starter Friday Everyone...Next week @Spoggie,...;)...Beautiful Artwork of a Hotrod/Custom and Truck by Many...that Series of Ford PU were privy to both and all in between and did it very well...;)

    @57 Corvette ~ Bob...sounds like an oucher...safe one...

    Happy Friday Art Show Hambers...

    1950 Packard - Micron pens, Sharpie & Posca White on a piece of cardboard. I have a strange affinity for these cars.

    Hello,

    Bonneville is within target sights, unless the Covid variants close everything to keep people safe. Here are a couple of versions of a vintage, chopped, custom, 1936 Ford Coupe set to make some “fast times at Bonneville…” The coupe is powered by a Flathead motor in the full stock body with real “lakes” pipes. As low as it can get to the ground, too. The coupe is in the gas coupe class with an allowed set back.

    The pit crew is in the A/C Ford Panel Delivery designed to keep up with the orange coupe on the push starts and towing when necessary.

    This version of both coupe and truck was created to make the 1936 Coupe go faster and to win some trophies for the best appearing cars and crew. Now, the 36 Flathead powered coupe has modified engine set back, clear hood side panels, and a 671 SBC with a crank driven blower. "More power" for more speed.

    Here are a couple hand saws I painted with one shot. These were done last winter. Gary INDIAN-A.jpg LADY-1.jpg

    These could get deleted but they are painted on red Traffic signal lens. I am starting a series of my favorite country artists. kenny-1.jpg merle.jpg willie.jpg

    I just feel like posting today. I asked the original artist for permission to paint his art. David Lozeau was very nice and granted permission. It pays to ask... His art now proudly hangs in my garage, and I smile every EL BANDITO-2.jpg time I look at it.

    These are probably re-posts also but I love them. They hang in my bicycle room. Not for sale ever. Sometime things just turn out good. FINK LENS.JPG LAV-1.JPG
