Will do. I cant say i have ever seen low script covers before. But then i never really paid attention to them. I might just put the low one on to make it a matched set and because they are different. I would like to know the history on them because part of the fun for me is doing the research.

 

Love the part about maybe his wife will let him race more in the last section of the article. He must have taken some shit over that.

I believe this red mid year Corvette convertible was done by Larry Watson and is parked in front of his shop.

 

I always loved that wheel and tire combination on corvettes. I guess it was the guys I hung around with that it rubbed off on me.

If those wheels were magnesium they would actually look good in twenty years when it came out of the barn again.

 

This has been a hot rod since the mid 60’s. Just got freshened up with new paint, wiring, gauges, wheels/tires, aluminum head roller cam sbc, muncie with the m22 style gear set but in wide ratio.....

 

Now to burn those new tires off!

Looks great Scotty. I think you will really like the M22 wide. I have one and noticed the improvement in the 1-2 shift. Not enough details on the engine but with aluminum heads I have a feeling it is not stock. I am sure you will enjoy the changes.

 

Jim i don’t remember the specs but it dynod at about 370HP and about 390-ish lbs but it idles like moms Impala, i don’t want too much power, this is the car the wife will ride in!
