Customs 40th Lead Sled Spectacular July 22-25, 2021

Hard to believe this year will be the 40th Lead Sled Spectacular. It is July 22-25, 2021 in Salina, KS. Last few months I've been thinking about all of the good times that I have attending this event. Hope to see some of the HAMB guys at this years show.

Proud to say that I was at the first spectacular and it was a life changing event. I went from a being Classic Chevy fan to a Kustom fan. I'd like to thank the Titus family for all they have done to bring back Kustoms.

Thought it would be kool to post pictures maybe share stories of past Spectacular events.

 

I wish we could go back in time. Good times…

I'm with you all the way. There's an assortment of most everything so most everyone can find something to like. There's friendly people to talk to and Salina is good to us. What's not to like.

 

Thanks for all the pics and the reminder Mick! Silas informed yesterday that he was going to this... (That may not mean as much to others here that don't know my 17 year old kid, but Mick knows him well.) And, he wanted to know if I was riding along. Hope to make it, but I have to get my 56 back together first. Or, I suppose we could venture up in the t-bird if needed. Praying for kool weather this year.

Oh, and I didn’t see the part about sharing stories about past events, but I will dig up a few pics as well from the time we went right at 10 years ago. I think it was my first “show” with my 56 after lowering and buffing it. We hung out with Roy and Sid Drapal all weekend. I think it was one of the first shows Roy had got his Model A to in the last several (like maybe 50) years. Sid helped him get it driveable and he had it at the show. It got TONS of attention and they even did a photo shoot while in Salina of it. More to come...
