You'll have to decide if these were also Studebakers. They are "Bullet Nosed" for sure .....

  4. I wondered how long until I would run across A Hirshfield's name. I watched him run at Lions in those days and that old Stude was awesome.

Pictures from the internet of my favorite Studes. The last were owned by a fellow in NH, are two-man Studie Indy cars, and the Studebaker COE that he transported them on. a991db5e-4da0-4eac-836d-7ebf.jpg LancasterCOE1409236112.jpg postcard-chicago-studebaker-truck-western-fuel-company-2627-w-adams-sepia (1).jpg 5356852743_9c4bd64b8a_b.jpg l31.jpg 1937-COE-S3965-8.jpg 00bb5a7266036ae4d8d196b861f21b95.jpg valpey_cab-over-truck_indy-car.jpg 1931_Studebaker_Indy_Car-01-970x647.jpg

I had to delete a couple of old posts with bad links to my old website.

Click on this Bullet Nose Paradise link to see lots of modified Studebakers ...

    ... including my 51 Champion ...

That’s a cool truck. But really the M series pickups don’t do it for me. No offense intended! To each his own. I prefer the 2R, 3R, E, 2E pickups (before the Transtars). And the later Scotsman pickups.

My Conestogas are a few pages back (pg. 9), here's the Lark that I drove as a daily driver for a little over 10 years. 259 in., auto trans. posi rear end.
It's gone off to a new home now. This is the "For Sale" picture.

I posted a photo of a very cool and rare Studebaker wagon last week but it got tossed because it had "modern wheels" on it. Maybe I can photoshop the wheels so I can try again. Ever hear of a 1956 Pelham?

Nice cars. I've browsed thru. Anyone have a photo of the 50's 2 door w/ 59 Caddy fins that John Hychko (sp) of Valley Auto Body, Waterbury,CT built in the 60"s.
He and Frank Maratta started CT Dragway. John tried to get me to buy shares in the project at $100 share. I was making $1.00 hr at the time.

Same truck... evolution being what it is; '56 as dragged from the barn, then '52 hood & grille, then stacked quads. Needs more lowering, but in due time.
