Got it cleaned up as best as I am going to do it. 51K mile one owner family all original and lots of accessories. Don't find them like this much any more.

Do you plan to fire it up or try, before you sell?

Dang cool car. Be tough to keep it as is and putt around, or put something stout between the rails.

  3. Well crap! You washed it before we could offer "barn find dust/dirt" removal tips!!
Nice find... I would be tempted to get it going, fix interior and top, CLR it, and drive!

  6. That is a way cool car and in really really good shape from the pics. Outside of the roof, seat and some surface rust, I would clean, lube and drive her as is.

  11. where does it go ?

I thought it was an aftermarket radio.

Super cool car, other then the roof snd seat she looks solid.

if your just looking to sell it to help out the old couple, try to get it running and yard driving.
Up here it usually means 50% or more in the asking price.

I thought it was an aftermarket radio head also. The range from 55 to 160 is why I thought that. I’ve never seen one quite like that though. The scale is backwards to what we’re used to. Anyway, that’s a very cool car.

Here’s a similar radio control head I found with just a quick search. It’s a Motorola. I couldn’t quite make out what yours says. FDEEC9CC-B6BC-4672-A60A-4ECA4895CD97.jpeg

That is so cool. What is the thing on the dash to the left of the steering wheel? Looks like spotlight but it’s inside

it is a control head for the radio. the large box to the right of the heater is the brain of the unit. the controls operate through what looks like speedometer cables. The left (volume?) knob has a very small key in it so that you can remove it to keep the kids from running down the battery

What one? I just recently sold the company that made parts for them and had many body molds. Years of searching.

Remember a local kid found a mint '34 Plymouth coupe(original blue paint, running) back in the mid 60's and cut it up(channeled);didn't need a chop. Looked awful! Never understood that kind of thinking. Born to be wild attitude, I guess. Anyway, great find there with some neat options. Kudos to the family who kept it all those years for you!

Might get flack for this but I find it better looking than a 33 Ford.
