Got the inner structure and front a pillar welded up on drivers side. Little bit at a time. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Always wanted a chopped 36 3 window ever since the October 05 R&C had that gold Brizio built 3 window on the cover. Dreamin.
My first car was a '36 Three window. I was 13, the car was $15. 1955. Saw George Barris at the San Jose Autorama, asked 2 questions about chopping the top. He shined me on, but his girlfriend (later his wife, she was stunning then!) chastised him for being rude. He then smiled, apologized, and looked at a Kodak photo I had taken. He then asked, "Why did you take so much out?" I said, "I wanted everybody to know it was chopped!" (5-1/4" in front, 6" in back...Looked great 'til I did the door frames...then it got low...) LOL
I don’t know how I missed your original posting. Pandemic fog perhaps? You have an artist’s eye and the skills to bring your vision to fruition. That’s pure talent. Bravo!
All you guys with your metal working skills always showing off make the rest of us feel inadequate. Great job.
Gotta ask so I can learn. Is a 3 window more desirable then a 5? To me I think it looks better so I am assuming yes but wanted to ask because the older 5 window trucks are more desirable then the 3. PS: the car looks awesome. I love this body style, year.
