Lets remember one of the greats in our hobby. no way better to honor him then to get out and drive your hotrod/kustom today.

Doesn’t feel that long ago

 

Doesn't seem that long ago and I sure miss reading his road trip stories.

 

Man, those 3 years went by fast. I had the pleasure of meeting Bob at a HAMB meet and greet at Bonneville.

 

I miss Bob

 

Yeah, me too. I'll be driving my 34 this evening with the "What would Bob do?" sticker on my dash. We had a lot of fun together..

 

I miss him a lot.

 

If anyone needs some of these I've still got a stack, send me your address and I'll mail some to you.

A Grand Day it was...We carry the Hotrod/Custom Torch Forward with the Spirit of those that came along for the ride...Bob was but One of those...So many have come and gone...

There is a lot of Spirit in an Ole Hotrod or Custom...

Always quick with a smile and a hearty handshake.
Always answered the phone with "yes my boy! what do you know!"

 

first met bob at the first detroit billetproof. he got the bedroom in denise's basement, the rest of us had to sleep where ever we could. i always sought him out every time after that to say hey and catch up. miss him too

 

Ahhhh yes! Crashing in the basement . . . those were the days!

Met him just once at Back to the 50's in 2014. I yelled "Hi, Bob!", he stopped for a sec, I introduced myself, he shook my hand and grinned like I was his new best friend. Would have been great to know him. Cruise on, Bob K.

 

Still looking for my pic of Mr. Bones. Anyone know where he's hiding out now?

 

He left before Bob. He was probably waiting for him when he arrived

I talked to him a couple of times in Bowling Green. He was a great guy and made you feel as if you and he were the best of friends when you talked with him.

 

I love how even though Bob did great things in life, he's basically gained iconic status mainly for just being one of the nicest human beings you could ever encounter. We all miss him

 

Bob was the best friend one could ever have. The happiest, friendliest guy I ever had the pleasure to meet.
I sure miss him, but smile every time I think of him...which is just about every day!

 

I would run into him at events all over the country. I would always say, Good to see you again, Bobs reply was always "It is good to be seen"
