    groovy
i thought they might be a metal press in rubberised affair
so they are simply in two halves
    =great
I have the springs, one end has the eye reversed - does the reversed eye go to the rear?
    thanks

They use 1965-1971 Dodge pickup springs, I’m pretty sure it’s the front springs.

Completely bolt-on rear end mounting kit adds needed reinforcement to the rear of your frame. No modifications needed to recommended frames. Kits use 1968-74 Nova, 1967-69 Camero and Firebird multi leaf rear ends, 1957-59 Monarch-Granada 8″. Other rear end kits fit by simply moving the spring pads. These mounts are used with Chassis Engineering Slider Springs. Kit includes front & rear hanger brackets, hardware & instructions.

The reversed eye, with the close spring clamp, goes to the front.

Quite a few years ago, their catalog had a footnote on their leaf spring kits noting to use the 65-71 Dodge Pickup front leaf springs if you didn't want to use their new springs. I got a nice set from a V8 pickup and they have 5 leaves in the pack. A little stiff- so you might want to use the 6 cylinder springs. I think they only had 4 leaves. They are a pretty beefy spring. I installed my 5 leaves under my 38 Plymouth-I'm going to remove 1 leaf before I proceed, once I get working on it again. I had the local spring shop install new front bushings-the press in ones. I would think the D
odge vans from those same years would work also.

first I need to move the spring saddle over
    first question...
IF the axle is 1967, the isolator housing and rubber ( lowering kit); from what years fords can I get them from - what is the width of the spring? 67 ranchero
    ------------------------------
    second question
the dodge d100 pickup front shackle - is that what I have??? this must mean that the bushing in the rear of the leaf spring is incorrect?
by all accounts the bush is 1/2'' id and 1'' od
non in stock on rock auto - are they a split bushing?
I am thinking my shackles are incorrect
/\ note the leaf spring at the rear is in the wrong position so the photo is a bit off
-just wanted to get it rolling

so do I 'just' press out the rubberised bushing from the leaf and fit some split bushings 1/2'' id 1'' od with enough 'head' ? so the shackle closes up?

    or

by the same rubberised bush and fit that to the kit and find a narrower shackle?

    hmm

basically do i simply need these?

and hope I have d100 front shackles?

That is correct. I bought the kit, used '70 Dodge 1/2 ton front springs and a Mopar Performance spring bushing kit. The car may sit a little too high for most guys on here. But you might be able to take a leaf out. Gene
