Folks Of Interest Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green Who is Going?

I have 81 new pictures on my phone, besides what i already posted. Problem is, after going through them, majority would be deleted due to the wheels lol. I've never seen so many cars with the same wheels on them. Me and my ol lady ended making a game out of it, i forgot the number we were on when we finally realized it wasn't funny anymore. Here's about all i have that fit the Hamb, plus the albino squirrel from our hotel.

We made it home. This year took way more out of me than normal. I partially unloaded the truck and then said screw it. Tomorrow is another day.

I told Darrin that he needed your car.

 

Took my son and grandson on Saturday. Had a good time. Took a few pics but missed a bunch

Thanks for the picts and the posts. It's just wasn't in the cards for us this year. Next year looks good though. We retired this year and while it's nice having time, the money isn't there like it used to be..

I have to go out and put axles in the front of my son’s truck.

our local cruise is this Saturday. If the weather is good we will get around 700 cars.

this past weekend is one of my best of the year. This is how I feel during it.

That’s a funny pic of Dick with the crazy hat on,,,,,LoL.
I really enjoyed meeting those guys,,,,they are ,really sharp at their trade .
The really cool part was,,,,,he was soft spoken,,,,,not full of himself,,,,,and you could tell he was confident in what he was stating as fact ,,,because he had lived it .

Some people you meet are like ,,,,,I’m Wile E Coyote,,,,,,you know what I mean ? But not these guys .
He and Bob were very personable and informative,,,,,I could have listened to them all day .
It’s funny,,,,,I asked what vehicles they mostly dealt in,,,,just to break the ice .
Bob was a mostly Chevy and Ford guy,,,with some other makes involved.
He had some pics of a beautiful old F1,,,,and a 32 Deuce he owns,,,,,awesome .

Dick kind of smiled and explained that he had been a fuel racer in the old days,,,,and had owned several different brands,,,,Chevy,,a couple of Fords,,,,and some Mopars .
Then he said at the moment he drives a Hellcat ,,,,,I almost fell over .
85,,,,,and drives a Hellcat !
These guys were awesome!

Yeah he drives his hellcat everyday, with the modifications he did to it, and his wife made him sell his bike that was making 150 at the wheel lol. True hot rodder. Plus at 85 he's a competition shooter. And you'd never know he was the screaming eagle man, nor that Bob was vice president of engineering for them. They are more down to earth than you'd ever imagine.

The best 5 days of the year!!!Like to have overdid it on Thursday. I am getting older. Got to meet Loyd and His Daughter,(she does look a lot younger than him!!). Seen Enlo and BIG ethan,other friends i only see once or twice a year. I love that corner of the world. I think when i die I want my ashes poured right there!!! Had a great trip back ,2 lane back roads all the way to ALA.

Greybeards showed up for a fun filled weekend. What a great venue put on. We had Alabama, Texas, Florida, Kentucky represented. I had a great 2000 mile journey in the 40 with beautiful weather all the way.
