Hot Rods Canadian Bacon

  1. Nothing exciting here. Still working on my F100. Frame is almost completely done and I'm moving onto the cab and front sheet metal.

And this is along the lines of what I'm shooting for when done (minus the brush guard).

Great to see this thread back around.
Canadian Bacon is the best, delicious.

Here’s my 26 RPU back on the road for the second summer with some winter refinements.

When I got home I moved the grass and did the yard work and thought I should clean up the garage but then I thought I should take the RPU out for a drive instead :D

That Nude Bicycle Ride Day is only good for those who are considerably younger than most of the folks on the HAMB and are of the female side of things!

  12. I've gotta agree. I saw that ride in front of the Empress Hotel in Victoria a few years ago, and believe me, some things are better left unseen, and once seen, cannot be forgotten. In the words of todays youth: Eeeewww!!!

    Canadian Proud

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in AIG one year ago, you would have
    $33.00 today.
If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Lehman Brothers one year ago, you
    would have $0.00 today.
But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the
beer, then turned in the aluminum cans for the recycling refund, you would
    have received $214.00.
Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily&
    recycle.
    It is called the 401-Keg.
    And as a bonus...
A recent study found that the average Canadian walks about 900 miles a year.
Another study found that on average Canadians drink 22 gallons of alcohol a
year. That means that the average Canadian gets about 41 miles to the
    gallon!
Makes you damned proud to be a Canadian!

Went to the A&W 149 street cruise tonight and met up with my buddy Dave.
    Was a good time.

  20. No, you're right. That truck is gone though. Lost interest in it and it ended up sitting for 4 years and 2 moves. Frame went to a guy planning to put a coupe or roadster body on it. Cab and bed ended up with a buddy of mine who's building a traditional hotrod out of it. I don't think he's active on here though.

Every time I go to the local A&W cruise night they want to take a picture of me with my car for their wall in side the restaurant. I don't like getting my picture taken so I tell them I can't cause I'm wanted in a couple of provinces and they usually go away.

Last night at the Parallel Mall in Abbotsford, Bubba's first bi-weekly coffee night. When was the last time you saw three Henry J's at the same time?

  23. Got this home on the weekend, from the picturesque Wasaga beach. Have it tucked away for the future, need to assemble some more pieces. Even enough room for the dog. F15F5D0F-DB2C-4D32-8CB1-3D61D3D41647.jpeg

That's the rare early experimental mule for the "flow through ventilation" system that came out in the early '70s! I'd hang onto that, perhaps the Dearborn Museum may want to purchase it from you?
