  2. Wow, I saw a ripped up junk nomad rear seat springs for more than that, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this project. HRP

At least it doesn’t say “all the hard work done” …

  4. I passed.
Thought about it, seriously, then ran the numbers.
I parts sedan would get you a ton of pieces.
The Nomad specific pieces add up.
I stopped adding when I got around 15k for trim and sheetmetal I don’t want to make.

this one was for sale yesterday. 50k.
I’m no nomad expert, but sounds like the owner wants to keep it.
I thought this $200 dollar version was kinda funny. But I guess it could be used as an argument for the 50k one.
It’s probably a $49,800 head start over the hull.

I see a roof skin for my model A tudor personally.

I'm way old enough that I have enough experience I don't need any practice projects...

I'd say that Nomad hulk has already donated to at least one Nomad project and maybe more. The roof even with the rust spots has to be worth far more than that to someone with a damaged or hacked roof. Best thing that one might do is fix a botched "gona make an Elkie Nomad out of my 57" mess., Or fix that one you found that had a car sitting on it in a wrecking yard for years.

I'd spend the $200.00 and bring it home just to see the wife go ballistic and yell that "I have gone to far this time ! ".

There is nothing left. I doubt the roof is salvageable.
You say it is a $200 score, looks more like .... I hope you got a clear title and numbers on it.

This is nothing but a $200 score on a title & # ... everything you build from it will not be considered original.

Glad you saved it though. .... er you paid $200 and no paper work? I wish you luck.

I'm thinking raise 200 from a few HAMBERs, buy it, and send it to Sibley as a group present.
Then in a couple of months, we'll all get to see the finished product.
