Mike, the blower is an 8-V-71, I am told, but Bob is going to run a B&M.

    Marty,
The lakes roadster is looking fantastic. I really enjoyed building the salt cars that I did. Lots of room for creativity.

I talked with the guy whose responsible for Beaches cruises and they've got the go ahead, but he's having trouble finding staffers for the cruises! He's hoping to restart them right after 4th of July now. I'm sure whenever they start the turnout will be maxed out!

Totally off topic........where is that little grey and white guy gonna hide when the roadster is gone ?? Sure seems to like hiding by the rear tires in several pictures. Looks identical to our KoKo that we lost at age 22 !

Alan, he just looks small in the photo, is actually a big boy, compared to his little sister.

And now Marty, you also prove that you are a feline herder! Imagine getting 1 cat to sit still long enough to get that picture, let alone 2! Where do your skills end?

I give up, I'm going down in the basement and taking up something new...

It was nice, that no one remarked about my screw up cutting the holes where the rear cage bars go through the body. As usual, I have friends that bail me out. My pal Leighton (master fiberglass man) came today, and plugged the holes. I almost overlooked a cage upright, but took care of that this morning. IMG_7196.JPG IMG_7197.JPG IMG_7198.JPG

I saw that, but at the time, in the back of my mind I'm thinking there has to be something else planned here. Made me think back to when I cut the holes in the side of my roadster body for the nerf bar pass throughs, one of the rare occasions that I actually got it right the first time. I've always thought that line of "measure twice cut once" was meant for me.

They are kept inside the shop for now, as that's where they were born. I need to move them to the house soon. The quail are safe, and getting ready for the little ones. Nothing like seeing 10, 1-1/2" tall quail follow their parents around.

I finally got back on the '29 today, trimming out the rear sub-rails to clear the frame rise. Next will be installing the A rear crossmember for the quickchange. I also, ordered a 5X rivet gun to install the frame rivets properly. IMG_6788.JPG IMG_7959.JPG IMG_7961.JPG IMG_7967.JPG IMG_7966.JPG

Marty, can you show the rivet gun sort of in action? I've never seen solid riveting being done. Thanks
