  4. Amazing the difference once you start putting it back together with the fresh paint!

Ever since we did the tilt the question was how would we wire the headlights and turnsignals. I hate wires running everywhere so we did this. It might not exactly be traditional but plug in run. Unplug and tilt. The wires for the front will be short down to the plug.

We were able to run the wires through the frame also. Not showing the buss for drivers side in pics IMG_20210406_145435786.jpg IMG_20210406_145442966_HDR.jpg IMG_20210406_145614990_HDR.jpg

    WV,

Great idea on the light hook-up that looks really clean!

Just a thought - you might want to weld in a small gusset in between the stop tabs and the tips of the frame horns. I can foresee those getting bent down over time as the front end comes to rest or bounces on the tabs at the end of it's travel.

Good thinking. Now you need a red warning flag to insert like planes have "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT".

Just a quick shake down through town. First time it's ran on it's own power in over 8 years. We have an exhaust leak but other than that it shifted well, tracked straight and the brakes seemed to work well.

Any idea of final weight? How much on rear? Front?

No idea yet. There are scales I can access not far from here but the car is a compromise. It weighs more than it should. As I've mentioned before I'll never be able to run a series but we will get it to the track and go from there.
