When I was in high school some buddies and I were at a party, out of our territory, a school the next county over where we knew a guy or two. Our presence wasn't super welcome. Cops showed up and everyone who could, ran. We were in my buddy's jeep and he had a couple screw on air release things for the dunes, you know. They lower the tire pressure for sand. We snuck over, put the two he had on the cops rear wheels, and took off. We heard later everyone that was there ended up with MIP's and the cops were pretty pissed.... Lol. Fun times.

I never ripped a cop's rear axle off though.

  4. Debbie-That's bitchin' tuck and roll! You know, I really love the feel of tuck and roll upholstery.

Toad-Come on in I'll let you feel it...You can touch it if you want...I'll let you feel the upholstery

    Original Trailer.

  7. But, the question is. How long did it take you figure out Officer Holsteins name?

Ever notice there was nothing behind the cop car to hook the cable to? Yet it mysteriously rips the rear axle out with no light pole or anything heavy behind the cop car.

Always liked the movie scene when Milner uncorks the headers and he pulls up to the pumps and is talking to the shop owner .

I just re-watched it a few weeks ago while I was working on this painting that I titled PARADISE AT SUNRISE. It is amazing the talent that was involved in that movie and how well it still holds up.

  13. Watch that scene as Milner leaves there is a condensation (from the cold air) coming out of the tail pipes.

    No open headers!

The scene where Toad and Falfa are at the traffic lights. Toad revs the engine in the 58, then Falfa just leans heavily on the 55. "I aint nobody dork".

  17. You know,,,I’ve always wondered if that was really the 55 engine sound,,,or just a sound effect?
That was one sweet sounding mill,,,,,,,pretty high rpm too.
With a good ear,,,,,you can hear those valves are sealing right .
Makes a huge difference in power,,,,valve seal is everything I think .

Not saying you're wrong, but when mine are open, it still lightly puffs out the back too...

I guess Wolfman could have gotten the Clap, being as he was broadcasting from XERB in Rosarita Beach, Baja California for quite a while.;)

Okay, I knew of that movie but was wondering I how it related to AG. Even though PA is. BC girl I still prefer AG...

And yes, that was a good dodge!

I've always liked the walk in the junkyard scene. I even thought about lettering the doors of my truck with the name of it.

But they used a locating arm (?) equipped modern Crown Vic instead of a car with leaf springs.

40+ years since I first saw it and I still get a shiver up my spine when Falfa runs the red light when he & Milner first duke it out on the street. Man, that sucker sounds sweet!
