I was under the impression that 57's had the scoop on the fenders.

Both '56 and '57 had fake little scoops on the fenders. You may be able to see where the right side was removed and the hole patched in this photo.



This is from a '56 that just sold today on Bring A Trailer.

Well my daughter and I are out for a date. We had some friends whose daughter was going to prom. We took the car up so they could take pictures in it.

 

This one has something odd going on, 56/7 with 58-60 rear bumpers

 

That’s great! Altho you should’ve just loaned them the car I loaned my o/t challenger to your buddy David (@D-man313) for prom.

 

Good eye, and nice catch. Although there are no rules in Hot Rodding are there?

maybe not a Hot Rod but still interesting

 

At Lexington Cars and Coffee. Sounded mean, definitely a Hot Rod Vette, sounded like a drag car when he pulled in.
