My dad worked for Western Pacific RR back in the 60's They had a motorized passenger car they called The Budd car. They used it to shuttle workers from location to location. I rode it once through the Feather River Canyon before the Oroville Dam was built. Budd was a manufacturer of a lot of passenger rail cars. Like those beautiful shiny dome cars on The California Zephyr.
Well I guess that's me. The Little Rascals was my favorite. Spanky, Darla; Alfalfa, Tubby, Stymie, Peetie the dog and probably some I can't remember...OH wait, Butch, the tough guy.
The Racing Strain (1932) - YouTube Great cars and trucks. Good aerobatic flying too. Possibly the first idea of a "T Bucket" The plot is a little corny though.
OOOH!, you're such a bad girl...But don't worry, I'm sure he'll go easy on you once he sees that look and the way you hold that tail light bracket.
My dad is bottom right. I was probably 4 or 5 when this picture was taken judging by the early 50s Buick. I wish I was a kissing cousin of the beautiful woman in front of the Pontiac. And, yes I know who she is!
Alfalfa always was after Darla, looks like Spanky beat his time with the fancy ride Is it O'TAY if I mention Buckwheat and Froggy ?
