Here are a couple custom bead rolled panels that I created. I am a licensed Ed Roth Rat Fink artist. More importantly I believe in Jesus. Happy Easter!

It is still not too late to get started on your project for Easter...

    upload_2021-4-2_3-59-37.png upload_2021-4-2_3-59-50.png

    Hello,

Doing the standard Easter egg “thingy” is old school. Dipping hard boiled eggs into a colored dye water for some Easter egg hunting. As time went by, the drawing of colored patterns on the white egg came into play and the designs flourished with the artist at hand. Our last extended family egg coloring contest was several years ago.

We were all “into” the designs and wanted to win, the competition was fierce. I did my scallops and flame painting, but came in 2nd. Of course our granddaughter won with her cool outlook on life in general…

Because last year was a flop for all pandemic events, there were other ways to have fun. We were able to at least give a home made design with some of her favorite candies and cookies inside as a “near, but far” surprise.

Other forms of celebrating the “young-at-heart” kids and adults is an annual event that needs a boost or two, for now. So, here is another blank form for all to use as your own pattern/design. Put a photo of each grandkid, dog, wife, etc and see the reaction when the carton is full of surprises from candy to jewelry is opened during the celebration. (Or several copied drawings from the internet) Something personal and connected to your family helps the recognition.

The orange tabs are for gluing.

The final design will be a small milk container with an opening lid. (Inside is your choice.) The outside takes a few minutes of print, cut and paste or on the computer, just an ordinary juggling of a photo or drawing to fit any size you make the original blank diagram. The larger the blank copy, the larger the real finished item.
    upload_2021-4-2_4-2-32.png finished shape

Using a thicker card stock during the printing phase will have better results if overloaded with “goodies” inside. Regular printer paper will be ok, but can only hold a cookie or two. The thicker card stock will hold plenty more, as will the thicker photo print Glossy or Matte paper.

My suggestion is to make the design first, then run a regular printer paper copy to see how everything folds and will glue together for the final object. For my design, I used an old drawing of a Cameo Carrier that I chopped and also a yellow 56 Chevy surf wagon. Plus a bunch of multiplying bunnies…and some pastel colors.
