I have never been a member of any social media (Facebook, Twitter or any of the others) never had the desire or need for people to know what I was doing 24 hours a day. I wonder how many divorces, loss of friends , loss of business and businesses, have taken place because of posts on social media by mean spirited people. People can’t set down their phones during conversation or a meal for fear of missing a post. Just never “got it” and have no interest. A funny but said story. My wife ran a daycare and one day was approached by a young mother who demanded another young mother and child be banned from the daycare. The reason; the other young mother unfriended her on Facebook and it embarrassed her. Amazing what people will say hiding in the shadows of the internet. Back in the day if people didn’t have the guts to confront someone in person they kept their mouth shut or got their ass kicked.

 

Damn- Now I feel bad calling BS on that story and deleting all the emails.. sorry
