I saw my neighbor trying to make some clearance for his pushrods grind right through the port wall of his new aluminum heads. I told him he needed offset rockers. An idiot with a grinder and a bur is a dangerous man.

    Hello,

While on our short local drive, after week long, very cold, rain shower ordeal in So Cal, it was nice to go to the beach to see the last of the blue water. It was prior to the brown run-off coming out of the San Juan Creek from back in the inland communities and local mountains. The blue water did not last long as the brown started drifting down the coast.

But, within a day or two, the sun was out, it was still cold (jacket weather), the water turned back to blue, and the local old cars came out to play or at least get in some work.

My wife saw this red Ford Work truck and wanted to know if it was the equivalent of a Ford F250/350 models with big tires and heavy duty load capacity. She likes the Ford Raptor trucks, WHY? That is a $60k, plus, question… It is a good thing we do not live in Colorado or Montana or a new, grey Ford Raptor Truck would be in our driveway, covered in snow.

The way she wants it set up, it would not get inside of a normal two car garage door. But, the new 2021 model will have a better ride with coil springs and more power called the Raptor R. She has the right idea of more power…

When she saw this old maroon/black Ford truck, she saw the for sale sign and chuckled. “Hey, that could be our next purchase…” Ha ha!!!

    Hello,

While driving around to get our heads on straight with the smell of salt water and smooth waves rolling in place, we cruised around to run some errands. On the way home, we saw this cool light blue work truck in an industrial portion of the coastal area.

It looked like a truck used for daily deliveries of big parts that would not fit inside of a smaller sedan delivery. It was nicely done with a great looking finished wooden stake area of the truck’s bed.

Any color other than black or grey will stand out. This old truck build had the bright blue paint that made it stand out from across the street. It looked just right, with the right amount of flare and color contrast.
