  3. A 330 is a Desoto, is that what you have? I have a spare set of stock steel covers without plug covers.
If you have a 331, it is a Chrysler.

Man, you need to lighten up. I’ve been the hobby for 50 years, mostly dealing with Mopars. I’ve recently made a switch over to rods. Yes, just a few posts however the cars I was into were not conducive to this forum.

Yes, it’s a Desoto Hemi. I’m looking for a spare set to have chromed. I was thinking that other covers such as Dodge or Chrysler would work.

The simple answer is NO. Chrysler, DeSoto, and Dodge are all different. I do believe that ALL DeSoto covers (276-341) will probably fit.

Thanks guys, that answered my question. I’ll keep looking. The covers on the motor are good for now. With Good Guys coming up here in Phoenix I’m sure Ill find a pair

Finding a set that are good enough to chrome might be an issue. I think by the time they polished the ugly out of mine there wouldn't be anything left. The weren't all that great when I got the engine back in the 80's.

Yup! they come unmarked/plain from the factory. The ID, Firedome or Fireflite are on the wire covers. If you want them they are specific to each side.

Just read from the beginning. Dart: if you would have said Desoto in the title it, replies are easier. It’s like titling y-block and everyone replies with 239-312 info and the writer wants early Lincolns and 57-up Mercs.
    I assumed you meant 331 Chrysler’s too.
    Hope find what you need..

How come everyone that has wire covers for DeSotos (Fire Dome AND Fire Flite) always has only lefts?
The right sides must be somewhere...

I misread someones' previous comment about the (OP not returning ,happens a lot).
I've pointed out before that when someone digs up an old thread, whether a current member or someone that just stumbles onto the HAMB searching the internet, it brings to light subject matter that still can be relevant.
