@Searchingforaclassic I would gladly help you look for this. If you want to we can run it in the Kustomrama Lost & Found Section:

I haven't read through all the posts in this thread yet, but I have always wondered about how a coupe from Louisville, Kentucky ended up with a Larry Watson paint job?

A bit disappointing. What has happened to Phil. He seems to have disappeared from the story...................

I have it on my list. I have to complete a couple of stories I'm working on first, then I'll start working on this :)

  24. The car was chopped and channeled, had uncomfortable seating, a thirsty engine and a tiny gas tank. I have my doubts the car will be found in that configuration as it appears to be something someone would/could/might tire of rather quickly.

I can't help but wonder if it possibly retained its paint job but got the channel job reversed, different seating, possibly some fenders, etc. Changes someone who loved the car but couldn't tolerate it the way it was would do. Maybe the engine got dropped in the 'club dragster' and there's a SBC in it now.

I do however still think someone has to remember this car after your Gramps owned it ...

The dash might be the same though. I might be inclined to focus my search on that feature.
