Unchopped looks great when the 32 rails are the same color as the body.

We often chopped the '30-'31 coupes 5"... that let us chop it just under the top door hinge, removing it... we didn't need to mess with relocating it... the w/s post's taper won't need work either...
we often trim and rotate the visor back a little [traffic lights]...
i personally prefer the channeled look... like the early east coast hot rod / race cars...
much easier and cheaper than chopping... my $0.02

My concern would be headroom, therefore, I would not chop it. I'm building a '31 on '32 rails also and won't be chopping it.

Head room is seldom an issue with "just" a chop. I am 6'3" and my Model A is chopped a little over 6" I have no problem at all with Head Room. You will have to be creative with the seat placement that's for sure but a no chop for that reason is not a very good reason. Also red light's are now a challenge, but hey guys it's Hot Rodding there are supposed to be a few challenge's ever now and then. Now what I personally feel you cannot do is chop and channel, and be tall it just will not work. My Model A is on a modified Model A chassis, the 32 chassis are much more classy and look a lot better, I think, and I would never ever channel a 32 frame. Kind of defeats the purpose of the of using one in the first place.

You have the benefit of searching through thousands of examples of what’s been done (or not done) to these cars. It just takes admitting to yourself what tickles your nether regions.

2.5" channeled A over '32 rails leaves the reveal showing and gives the thing that hotrod look...

Just an observation but the radius between the wheel wells and your tires is spot on! Somebody did a good job!

I don't know how to answer this blog. In the day when these cars were becoming a Hot Rod or kustom
the cars I remember seeing chop at the flats or drags, The kustoms were few and far apart. Those that were chopped the owner had money. I have had both and now I drive a stock height 51' Mercury. I wont be chopping it. A reality.

I'm gonna drive mine for a bit. But it will most likely be getting a chop.

Decided not to Chop mine after sitting in some chopped ones, I like the extra headroom and being able to see more.
