I run across them sometimes on You Tube and think they are worth sharing. It would be cool to see someone here talk about "Their Car" in one of these. I have an Early Bronco too and my first one was in a lot of magazines in the 80's. I often run into guys in the Bronco crowd who talk about my first one and how it inspired them. The same goes here with my Merc project, there is a guy who reached out to me about my YouTube videos of my car and says he was the owner in the 90's. Waiting patiently for him to contact me to get more history. More to come as soon as he contacts me, he also says he has a 50 Merc too, we will see

 

I enjoyed that video. Davenport IA fairgrounds. Wish I would have gone to some of those Iowa events back in the day. Early in video there is a black '51 Merc with black bumpers, Dave Freeburg (spelling) from Omaha, followed by a red '57 Pontiac, I think owned by Skidmore of Omaha. One of my all time faves from Council Bluffs makes an appearance, Bob Johnson in the "Sweeter than Wine" 40 Merc convertible.

And, I could be wrong, but at time stamp 6:02, is that Jerry Stanley with a '51 Vicky? @stanlow69 's Dad??

A little Nash Metropolitan is going KUSTOM. This is so kool. I’m not a metropolitan fan at all but he is making me look at them with different eyes. He did it with a Gremlin, why not a Metropolitan. Lol! I can't wait to see more progress.
