Met him at Paso in either 2003 or 2007 (can't remember) and they were displaying and selling Bill Hines for President badges. Could have been a good choice with hot rodding and custom cars made mandatory by Executive Order.
Bill Hines, the “master” of the chop top!!!!!! May he RIP!!! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
That look like Terry Hegmans Merc, if so, it is one of the best. You should have seen in the Rodders Journal in bare metal, unbelievable.
I have had my Merc for about 2 years now. It's been patiently waiting for me to get to it. Life gets in the process you know and it took longer than I thought. Even offered it for sale a couple times with no takers. But I have been stashing parts I find all along. So the last couple of weeks I've been finding the time to get after it. Installed a 401/TH400, had the seat upholstered, found most of the missing trinkets (horn center, some trim, etc. ) installed the glass, then moved onto the ride height this last week. I'm close to having it on the road and as you all know these cars are just a little harder to find the right parts for and when you do you better just pay the man. So the process requires patience. But It's nice to be able to post a couple pictures of the before and after.
Not the Terry Hegman Merc. That car was built by Matt Townsend and South City Rod and Custom for Nick Rogers and was know as the "Ruggiero Merc" This is the Hegman Merc.
