I'd like to see more of that Victoria. Great color!

My first car was a Victoria this color. I think the color name was Pine Ridge Green

Was it a factory color? I don't think I've ever seen a '56 in dark green like that.

  11. I love the pictures of the new '55s on the car haulers. Note two cars in the same aqua and white 2 tone, a Victoria HT and a Fairlane Town Sedan. One has the aqua on top and white on bottom, the other is the opposite.

  12. Rotted out front crossmember. When it turns to mush the fronts of lower A-arms have nothing to hold them in place.

So she came home today. After supposedly sitting since the 80s but the tag on it was a '74. Brakes weren't stuck and she was parked in neutral. Was delightfully uneventful! Motor seems to have most likely been warmed over as apart from the dual exhaust there are exhaust dumps present and the rear springs had some work done. It's definitely a 302/C4 combo. Gas tank is missing, solid trunk, good floors, and overall not a bad car for South Florida.

I love seeing more of these saved. One of my first old cars was a 56 Ford sedan. Had to change a spark plug and fix the brakes. Ran great, before I got the big idea to put a bigger engine in it. Didn't get to drive it again after that.

I guess most people don't think they are worthy enough to have one...

That's a really nice installation; doesn't clutter up the beautiful '56 dash. I did something similar with my shoebox, and I've been very happy with it:

  23. Technically not 56.. but the Google tells me these are 55-59 fords from Australia. I'd do unspeakable things for a ute. Or a 54-56 mercury M100 pickup. 117056575679f6172ac4981267c3a2a8.jpeg image11-720x460.jpeg thumbnail_Photo-4-1-720x340.jpeg
