Got this one a few years ago in an antiquary, originally it had mounts for a bulb inside, but right now it has a led in it.

(Maybe the light up effect was better before the layers started fogging up) IMG_20210130_093932.jpeg IMG_20210130_093946.jpeg IMG_20210130_094240.jpeg

I haven't been on here in a while. I still have this Nomad. I wondered if anyone out there has any photos of it from mid to late 60's racing at Detroit or Milan.

    I love it!

I have a chrome "knob" in an OT vehicle that's been with me since I was in my late teens. We came across these old abondoned cranes in the woods, trees growing through them and such, on one adventure riding dirt bikes on some forgotten trails.

There was this old chrome knob in one of the machines with a hole in the top of it. It had the same thread as nearly every one of my off road trucks over the years and it's really nothing special. There is a patent number on the top and it wasn't until I worked at a patent firm that one day, I got around to looking up the number.

It wasn't a knob originally, it was from an antique eye flushing machine. Probably taken out of some industrial shop decades before I got to it. So, some guy, like me saw it and said, "that'd make a neat shift knob..." and so it lived a new life in some archaic crane.

If it were the right size, it would be in my coupe.

Tribute to my Dad who was a bombardier on a B-17 with the 2nd Bomb Group based out of Foggia, Italy during WWII. This was their insignia. Their motto, "Defenders of Liberty."
