My friend Mike Brock's 33. It's been driven to every lower 48 state, many more than once. DSC09810.JPG DSC09811.JPG HPIM1672.JPG

I think I bought a 35 Dodge pick up from Mike several years ago at a Good Guys meet in Pleasanton Ca. I saw his 33 in colorado many years ago as well. It was the first SBC with Olds valve covers I ever saw.

One of Mikes' previous rods was this beautiful Deuce roadster, also unchopped. I think Mike was one of the first to adapt Olds valve covers to a SBC. Mike.jpg Mike 001.jpg Mike 002.jpg Mike 003.jpg

  10. Took this shot at the inaugural Arizona Hot Rod Hundred event in 2014. Double-deuces...

Wow, that car is a beaut!
Just need to photoshop out the late model behind it (or park it somewhere else for the photo).

    Thank you!

Yes. It was my grandfather’s car. I got it in 2012 and just got it on the road this past October.

Congratulations! It is a great looking hotrod but the fact that it is your grandfather’s is very special! When you get a chance can you post some more pictures or do you have a thread that I some how missed?

    Here is my 34. lol
I’m waiting for a body to appear. Lol IMG_0013.JPG

Ha! Keep looking and you’ll find one!

I don’t really have the interior done yet. That’s getting started next week.

I didn’t do a build thread. Probably should have.

Here’s how it looked when I picked it up.

    Hey y’all question?
Is the spare tire mount support bracket
supposed to be completely flat? I think it should be, looking at the tail pan, and the mount for the old original spare tire, I’m not gonna use it but I want to use it as like a support for the pan, I’m gonna put padding on it, and then screw the license plate in the center on the outside thanks for your help ahead of time

No I build the car in my home garage a few years before Lobecks came out, you can see pics in my media.

  23. I can't believe it but after 60 years of hot-rodding I finally have an unchopped deuce. Not on the road yet but will be for Spring. IMG_7666.JPG
