Thanks @kool52 for taking, finding and posting all the pics and a big thanks and congratulations to you and the River City crew for a terrific 10th Annual Reliability run.
With the Mount Tarrengower Hill Climb being a local event which we usually attend I've always wondered about the Rob Roy one and to get to find it, see it then drive the track was a big thing for me. So thanks for that too.

IMG_4218.JPG Gee it was a hairy moment when I saw this Challenger coming at me around a corner at speed, on a tight road.
Great capture to whomever took this shot.

It was a struggle & battle to make it happen, border restrictions put an end to our interstate entrants attending

Australia was hit by the Pandemic like everywhere but all I,ll say is that it was better handled than here.

  22. No.
I won't elaborate because politics is OT, but that is the short of it.

We have just come off the harshest lockdowns in the world for months on end, while it’s been contained we lived under some pretty extreme measures. With no swap meets/car events it was the first time out for most of our entrants with their cars in 12 months, hence the smiling faces

  24. I had no intention of bringing up anything political.

Thank you sir, there has been little to nothing here in the States but we can live vicariously seeing the images posted here. HRP

I just went back through this thread again. It struck me how much I didn't 'see' while on the run. As in , when you look at a still image of a cool car you notice how great it is. I think being on this run, as you're surrounded by so many cool cars you just don't really notice it until you look at each in isolation of a singular photo.
Props to the RCCRC gang again.

    Only 361 days to go....

  26. Let's be honest, when you say 'we,' you mean the state of Victoria. Not where I live. ;)

I’m still going through the thread and I know I have mentioned this before on other threads but I believe credit is due where credit it due. To all the Aussie and Kiwi’s I am always impressed with the quality and traditional style you all put into your cars! Well done! Plus always enjoy talking to you all when you guys come to Bakersfield!
Side note: About 20 yrs ago when my ship pulled into Sydney the first thing I did after getting a warm steak and a cold one was find an Australian hotrod mag and some local rock n roll cd’s! Good stuff guys!

    Tony,

I think you're wrong there too. Really you mean Melbourne. The rest of the state was able to go more then 3mi from their homes etc.
