I am looking to contact the owner of the car pictured - I know it's not much to go on but I was told it is a Dodge, Plymouth or Desoto roadster or coupe and that the owner or builder is from Alberta, Canada.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a Desoto; not that that helps much.

Hi. Front plate shows New Mexico. So it is minimized to someone from New Mexico who was at Speed Week. Good luck, Jimmie

I see a California plate. Where do you get New Mexico from?

That's a long roadster, it could be CA up front and AZ in the back. Sort of dual citizenship.

When was it allegedly built/owned in Alberta?

No idea - someone here on the HAMB told me he had heard that. I think the car was up at Deuce Days in BC at the time - maybe there was some confusion. It definitely looks like a California build to me as well.

I've seen a lot of cars at shows that aren't California cars but are displaying California plates.

Back then they spelled it the old way, not the new Kalifornia way!

I know the guy who owns the red truck in the back of the photo, that's about it.

  19. That roadster has been posted on the HAMB before- I'm thinking one of the Bonneville threads from the last three years- might come up with more info with a search?

Maybe the guy in the red truck knows who he is?

Just a wild guess but I would say the OP is more interested in the wheel than the car..................

My first reaction is to call bullshit on the Mickey Thompson wheels thing, but they definitely look like the wheels that were on the Challenger. If so, that would make them much more than just rare.

I think I saw Squirrel have a lengthy talk with him at Bonneville this year. I didn't want to interrupt.
