I'm kind of curious what the old gentleman started with. It looks like an old hot rod chassis, with split bones and a dropped axle:)

Fell in love the second time I looked at it. Gotta love the artistic style and work quality. Cool as hell.

yes. He and his wife decided to move to AZ, and with that, his two year project was over. He says he's done with cars now, but I am staying in touch with him, and I think he should try his hand at another project.

I'll try to get a better one tomorrow as this is all I had. The dash is wood with Ford gauges.

It was a 1928 Model A Ford chassis. Brakes are 39 Ford juicers. Everything else is hand built.

That is kinda the way I fell in love with it too. I looked at it, thought that is cool...Do I want to spend money today? no. Next day, I look at it, and I think what the hell am I doing? Buy that thing and figure out if you don't like something later. The car is not a concours build..it is meant to be a "real" car. Built in 2018-2020 but looks like it was built back in the early 1900's.

  11. Dang...a early split window right there...really nice build you did there (envy) and welcome !

Welcome Brent. That’s quite the car. Over the years folks have built some very interesting vehicles, both home built and professionals and most have a charm all their own. I’m so glad to see people who think outside the proverbial box are still building cool stuff.
You’ve come to the right place for sure, almost everyone here appreciates unique cars like yours.

Was the builder a rear tall guy who was caught stealing aluminum sheets out of the Airstream trailer factory? Only joking, the skills and insight some people have amazed me.

Oddball for sure. The tail fin doesnt trip my trigger, but what a ton of work put into it, and well done. Id love to cruise it and see the looks you get from people along the road.

aluminum heads and a neat vintage blower would really be cool on it!

    Welcome from Dennis in Seattle.
You have distinguished yourself by purchasing that very cool, kick ass, original, flatty powered, low flying egg wagon! Very impressive! If and when the Greenwood car show happens again, if you show up with that, be prepared to answer a million questions about the build.
Money well spent indeed, in your case, you definitely got good value for your money !
