Here's one of my rides...1928 Frame, 21 stud 8, juicer brakes, etc. Body is totally custom fabricated.

Looking forward to mixing it up with the group!

Welcome from Tennessee. That's a pretty nifty ride you've got there. Did you spend some time in the aircraft industry?

This car I purchased with the body mostly done...The person was a ~75 year old fella with no experience working aluminum. He trained himself and took his time. Pretty impressive.

  6. Neat looking car ,

Don’t remember the name but it looks like the old guy was inspired by an old speed racer .....golden rod, golden egg, golden shower it was called something like that , and looked something like what you have !

it was gold and kinda looks like your ride!

    Cool car !

Did a nice job on the interior. The wood and color go well together.
    Did you do it?

Yeah, I know the car you are talking about. He did indicate he was inspired by old racers...He was considering entering the race of gentlemen.

Thank you so much for the compliment on the car. Unfortunately this car I did not build myself. I have built quite a few, but this one was a deal I just could not pass up in about a 90% complete state. So I have taken it from there, but the body/interior was mostly done.

He did do a really great job. It took him two years from the beginning to a little before the pics you see here.

Yeah, the gentleman who built it did throw away the cookie cutter. He wanted to do something of his own design for a change and just dove in headfirst to do it. He had never done such a thing before. Quite impressive.

Frame/Title. Thanks for the welcome! Aeromotor actually rolls off the tongue pretty nicely.

  25. Was the guy that built it a relative of Buckminster Fuller? Kinda got a Dymaxion vibe going on. Cool ride.

Welcome Brent Mills, what is that?
    A hot rod?
    A lakes racer?
    A speed trial machine?
Hard to define, got coolness written all over it, fun to drive, would be a show stopper.
This can be a tough crowd, hope you got thick skin, takes awhile to fit in, but this is the place to be if you like to build, there's a lot of talent here.
