Projects 1934 Ford Sedan Gender Reassignment Surgery

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by flatnasty, Jan 14, 2014.

  1. My guess is that he wanted 18" wide fives, but they must be hard to find and expensive. So, he modified 16" wide five centers by adding an inch to the spokes. Those were put into some unknown early 18" hoops.

The hubs are those original (37 truck?) windowed ones, or what Ron mentioned?

No, I think it’s being featured as a build in a Canadian hot rod magazine? Like over several issues.

I believe he bought a new home/shop around the time the 5 window sold. I think the three window body is probably done or close to. He doesn’t really post anything online that I’ve seen of it

I bought the cut off from that car last spring. I image in Brad has a lot more done on it.

The Spiteful Spl is out here & raced at Rattletrap, I had forgotten about this thread & being on the other side of the world meant it didn't click. What an awesome sounding car! looks great in person!
