Probably a 51 or 52. 53 Buicks had four round taillights, two per side.

Thanks for replies. Someone evidently had thoughts on saving the dash and then passed on it.

Typical Autocar , made to haul very heavy shit, and run over anything in its path. Not designed to carry Girl Scouts !

  7. Saw these listed for sale - all or none - good luck with that !

  9. Wish I had the '55 Ford 4-door in the pics that Tall T 26 posted! It's the same body style as mine and has a lot of parts I could use.

  10. Sad fate for that '56 Ford Victoria that Richards69impala posted, but happy to see it on a trailer headed to a good home. Somebody actually thought that they could improve on '55-'56 Ford front end styling. It's a '56 for sure with that Victoria top and back window, but I like the '55 grille and front trim better. I'd be tempted to look for a '55 front clip to replace the bad custom work.

The Buick above is definitely a 1950 Special. 51 and 52 wouldn't have that long straight stainless molding on the back door, and Super shared the rear window shape with Roadmaster and Cadillac, only Special 4 door sedans used that rear window.

Why, exactly? After all, the Duke and Duchess of Whereverland couldn't be expected to ride in anything less...

  27. Did anyone else notice this is a d500 wagon? That'd be a 325 hemi equipped wagon....very very rare. And it definitely needs to be saved!
