    Sorry to hear that, spring spreader problem? You need to made two angle iron fixtures if you have reversed eyes (on the spring). Bob

  5. No reversed spring, the spring and spreader fell out and one of them got me. It happened so fast I am not sure witch one got me. I was not thinking and forgot that I unbolted the u bolts. Dumb ass! Me not you.

  19. Good news at the surgeon today. Looks like it will be ok on it’s own. He set it straight and did x rays after a splint was put on and it looks good. Pain is starting to subside. Thursday it will be checked and a better cast will be done. A few weeks before healing. How do I get out to the garage without the boss seeing me?

  25. I know, it's the photo. You should see the other side.:oops: Of course all the crap they sprayed my hand with at the hospital helped. I told them I already used Prep-Sol , but they weren't having it.:eek:

    You got lucky , could have been a lot worser depending on where the parts flew.
