  2. I could have, but the stock pitman arm is much longer than the 32 setup.

  3. Received rear Posies Spring , got it de-burred cleaned, and primed. Also got the 312 tig wire I was waiting for. Will weld up pitman arm later today! IMG_7535.JPG IMG_7536.JPG

  4. Welded up the pitman arm today. Vied out , then preheated , started welding doing some peening along the way. Post heated, bring down the temperature slowly. Looks good! 312 wire flowed nicely. Paint springs and pitman tomorrow.
Snowed here today, garage nice and toasty. Pre- Heating

  6. I still have them on!:p

  7. Finished up the pitman arm. I use a bushing so I can reduce the size of the bolt. Better clearance and looks cleaner. IMG_7554.JPG IMG_7555.JPG Had to ream a pit since it was thicker than the stock 32. IMG_7556.JPG Back to the garage tom paint springs etc.

Wonder if the drag link can stay on the bottom after the dropped axle goes in? Does it even matter? Just noticed the dropped ends on the tie rod, I've had a set of those for 45 years and your car is the first I've seen with them. Bob
