Hey guys, recently traded my car for this cool chopped coupe.

Its a 1951 Chevy. I fell in love with the profile and the stance. I had to have it. After a few days we were able to make a deal and I now own the car.

This car was on this site for sale about 10 years ago. I believe it spent some time in Oklahoma or Ohio. Also was told it attended the World of Wheels car show in Wichita Texas February of 2010.

I know it was in the Road Devils Car club at one point. Any help would be awesome. Thanks! Interested in maybe old photos of the car at shows or during the build.

    Heres the car.

Not my style but I wouldn't be ashamed to be riding around in it. Congratulations on your find.

Would like to possibly get old car show photos, and maybe build photos if possible.

There may not be many build photos around.
Show photos, you will have to do exactly what any one of us who tried to help you would do. Search for shows that were in the region that the car spent time in along with looking for coverage of The Kustom Kemps shows in Salina Kansas. Royboy's page would be a good start as he has taken event photos in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas for a long time and may have a shot or two of the car. Home - Royboy Productions

Look in the link from @carolina chevrolet posted above. When you get to the bottom of the page it rolls over into more pages with a lot of photos. Then keep going to the bottom and let it roll to the next page I think there are like 5-6 pages until it's finished.

Has that Drag-N Shop vibe from, oddly enough, the Garcia brothers Joe and D.A. Maybe @TheFrenZ or @Sancho know something about it.

I am not sure on the front bumper guards, it looks like if you run into something the guards would lift whatever you hit into the sheet metal or push your front end down still hitting the sheet metal. But it is a nice car, I can appreciate the amount of work involved.

I can see why you'd fall in lust for a car done so well! It really does have nice lines, and stance.

  26. I remember the car in Oklahoma around 15 to 20 years ago. I saw it at several events and am sure I have some pics somewhere. From what I remember, the guy that had it wasn't from around here though. I can't remember all the details, but do know it was around. I do specifically remember it being a Road Devils car since we also didn't have any of those guys local. And, if I remember right, the paint had several cracks in it at the time although it was the same colors. I mainly remember it since it was one of the few coupes I have seen that I actually liked chopped.

It was a Road Devils car out of Oklahoma. His name was Eric. That's all my guys could remember as of right now but they are still poking around for more info. ;)
