    Hello,

That 1956 Chevy 2 door sedan was too nice to sit in some fog or haze, artistically as it was. It needed some cropping and detailing. What a nice Chevy Sedan straight from the 1950's and early 60's time period. The kicker is the upholstery highlights coming through the windows.

One of my high school friends had a 1956 Chevy 2 door post model, painted a bright silver, with chrome wheels and blackwall tires. He got some white tuck and roll upholstery that stood out for miles, through the windows anywhere he parked. The inside roof, the package tray and posts stood out the most. It was one of the most modified sedans in our high school. The slight Cal Rake made the Chevy sedan have an attitude, despite the stock 265 detailed motor.

Nice photo and I could not help myself to make the Chevy sedan stand out a little better.
The look is similar to @firemangordy and his similar 55 Chevy two door post sedan that is the show case for a quality 50s/60s street customs.

Thanks for cleaning the picture up Jnaki. The way my shop sits the winter sun is always at this angle and as you can tell I'm no photographer, just a guy with a iPhone. One of the benefits of my profession is getting to work on and drive some of the coolest cars around. I love it.

My dad and I got a 57 retractable in similar shape back in 1992 for free. It basically fell apart on the trailer on the way home. Pulled all of the salvageable parts and sold for $400 and my dad kept the 9” rear.

  6. Can't believe I'm typing this. A 4 door.

.. yet, I can't look away. So straight, with paint very serviceable. Sure would look good with chrome reverse wheels, & spider caps.

License plate blurred, so you clowns don't snake it from me.

    A 4 door .. that I would look very good in. :D  ;) :)

**A sucker for Pontiacs. Guilty as charged.

I saw about 150 miles of Virginia countryside in my '49 Chevy half ton. Delivered a borrowed brake line flange tool loaned from our club, picked up a truck heater and 3 huge old Hollander Interchange books, delivered 2 engine stands and picked up a cherry truck four speed transmission access cover. Two locations travelled to see great friends. I am a lucky man and I know it!

It wasn't a car or a bike but what ever it was it probably will be on the next copy of Walmart shoppers. Some things are scary enough to make an old man run with out gunfire or fire behind him.

    Hello,

Noticing anything that is different on the local So Cal streets is always fun. To be on the look out for a cool car, station wagon or truck can bring up some good results. Parked in front of a Chevy truck parts and restoration shop was this black plate Suburban style wagon from out of state. Assuming it was a Chevy truck, it looked very cool.

There are some days that the Chevy parts and restoration shop has all of their shop trucks out on the street. This time, only the visitor was present. For my photo, the red and white window panel truck could be an early Chevy Suburban.

    Jnaki

At any rate, it was well done and looked right at home in front of the classic Chevy restoration and parts building.

  27. I guess this was a couple days ago technically...but ran into a buddy breaking in a fresh 312 in his 56 Merc Saturday. Me and another buddy were about an hour from home for a meeting and actually came across him twice.
