Features Ryan, How about a new beanie - COLD WEATHER IS HERE!!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, Nov 30, 2020.

  1. I'm putting in my yearly request for a new Beanie, the store is getting bare and I have about wore my old one out.

I would love to see this old design of your 38 coupe in a beanie, the image is just too cool.

or something similar to the last one except the H.A.M.B. printed on it. HRP

I can't wear one. They make my head itch. So I will stick to a ball cap and ear muffs.

  4. I don't know what the ones Ryan had are made from but I couldn' t wear the old watch cap (stocking). I had the same problem.

The Jalopy Journal Beanie was well made in America without wool. HRP

Just a suggestion, and nothing more ! With that cool logo of the 38 coupe that Danny is talking about, on one of these classic (Norwegian Bachelor Farmer ) hats with ear flaps, purely for cold weather, I bet they would sell just fine, but the price would not be cheap.
Easier on the head than the traditional ( itchy ) wool sock caps, IMHO, your mileage may vary!

^The Norwegian bachelor farmers can easily wear that hat throughout the winter, because no one will ever see them as it´s always dark there during winter:D For us cool guys interested in coming along with the ladies I´d rather suggest a beanie:D

Okay, no ear flaps for me. If you all recall the “Christmas Story?” With Darin McGavin? The kid had to wear the flap hat. My folks made me wear one too. I felt like a dork in the 60’s wearing it, so burned a hole in the memory. I bet it would have kept my ears warm though, but never dropped the flaps.

  20. I know we have some follicly challenged members that could greatly benefit with a warm beanie on their shiny noggin, these beanies are great for anyone driving a hot rod or custom. HRP

I’d dig the black one with a HAMB logo, have to put the logo on the inside so when flipped up it would be in front

Thinking about it, might be a cost and commitment to make them. So I’m in for 11 of them, one I’ll keep one and Ryan could send out the other 10 to HAMB folk for the holidays

  24. Man, that's a outstanding gesture on your part.

The last batch sold out FAST, when I decided I wanted another one a few weeks
later the Hamb Store shelves were bare. HRP

  25. Even a sew on patch the said H.A.M.B. similar to the original one that had Jalopy Journal would be nice.

I also realize Ryan has a lot on his plate trying to rid the site of all the scammers and this ain't a priority. HRP

I'd be willing to offer up one of my old designs...as would probably a bunch of the F.A.S. guys. You could even make it a HAMB contest. used1.jpg

Maybe just sell the patch so people can put it on their own beanies? That way people who need a REAL beanie can get that and you guys that are cold in the 40's can wear the thin ones......

Now years ago I used to hunt deer and elk in what was known as “Skyline” out past Provo Canyon? Anyways, we’d sleep ina little 3 man tent.
Now years later when it gets below 50, I don’t want any part of it;)
