Coming along nicely. You have the right idea though, when it gets on your nerves- walk away and take a break!
Some of the worst mistakes I've had to undo have happened when grumpy and/or tired.

It's gonna be purty once you're done.

Thank you sir, feels good to be working on it again.

Thank you, I didn't think I would be able to myself but I just said the hell with it and went for it. Can't be scared all your life LOL.

Thank you sir. I cherish every minute with my kiddos. Some day when I pass my cars down I hope they will be able to look at them and smile and remember the time we built them. Hopefully they are fond memories for them as well LOL.

Kind of a photo shop of a tail light idea, any thoughts? Not my car but just a straight shot of the rear of a 52 Plymouth. These are 51 ford taillights placed vertically. I thought about tunneling them a little.

That works well... good idea! 'specially if you sink 'em in a little. And they'll double as side marker lights!

I plan on sinking them in so only the points of the light and the blue dot can be seen from the side.
I really want a set of 51-52 dodge taillights but no luck so far.

I haven't had a lot of time or money to work on this car lately and have just been acquiring parts. Well I just bought the power plant. I was going to use a 360 but I finally talked a friend of mine into selling me his 331 hemi with a ford transmission adapted to it. I am not sure what kind of transmission exactly just that it is a 3 speed top loader from a flathead. They had it set up as a display on a stand and I have never heard it run. Today I will be firing it for the first time in 3 years or so, I can't wait to hear it.

I'm going to sell that ford transmission, it is too short for what I need.
