I wish. I have several Mopars from that era but not that one. It's from a Mopar site.

The car is awsome, what would it matter if its mine or not. Am I not allowed to post an opinion?

Maybe he just wanted to know if you were the lucky owner.

Life's easier if you don't jump to taking offense when someone just asks you a question.

Almost like the one I bought new. Belvedere 11 .Mine had a 426 street wedge and a darker color turquoise. A year later I was on my way to the Nam. God damn President LBJ !

You are correct. Looks like I may have jumped to a conclusion... I'm posting an apology...

    Hello,

All over So Cal, the Chrysler Corporation was putting in ads of all kinds to get people interested in buying their brand of cars. It was a hard road and still is, today. As powerful as the sedans were in the 63-67 era, it was hard to compete with the factory GM BRANDS, Chevy and PONTIAC. As successful as the Chrysler Corporation brands were on the race tracks, they had a following, but not in the sales department.

The core for popularity was set in the mid 50s for Chevrolet and Ford. From that standpoint, there was a lot to be done to overcome the large sales to the ordinary citizen and teenagers in search of their first car. Yes, those two brands had success at various tracks and for some reason, that played into the higher sales at the dealers showrooms.

Our local cruising grounds should have seen plenty of Chrysler Corporation cars in all stages of powerful motors and body designs. At the Lion’s Dragstrip and other So Cal dragstrips, the classes were full of factory cars. But on the street, there were a few if any in our neighborhood or cruising grounds.

    Jnaki

Even with bigger motors and seemingly faster cars, for some reason Chrysler Corporation just does not reach the pinnacle of car sales in the USA.

Very cool thanks for posting. This is my 63 Plymouth Savoy Max Wedge car with aluminum front end. Real factory built S/S car but was born with a steel front end. I added the alloy nose in 1991.

That is awesome! Still have it’s original drivetrain? Obviously you’ve owned it a long time...Randy

Not the original drivetrain. The engine is all Max Wedge though...1964 pistons, crank and rods. Early 286 casting heads, intake and 3447 carbs.
