65-67 C body fits most Mopars. '56 was 1st year for ball joints on Chr/DS so there's a number of disc spindles that'll fit.

I actually wanted to put in a 4 speed, but the conversion might be expensive and more of a headache than I would like. Jenni wants to use the push button trans, hence the reason to retain the Powerflite. But for now, this is still in the planning stage. We have time, once spring arrives, we can thrash it. The plan is to get our 2 muscle cars and the wagon to Carlisle mid July....lol.....good luck with that!!!

 

The early TFs up to '61 should work with the push buttons. '62 to 64 or '65 also with the tranny adaptor. Imperial services makes (made?) an adaptor to use later trannys with the push buttons.

 

Working on the wagon today I found a little hole under the left headlight. It had been packed with mud. So I fixed that, then I made a go-cart for my grandson, who’s 5. I’m easily distracted...

I seriously thought about a Hellcat, my buddy could have gotten me one for 12K, but I went with the cheaper, $3500 base 345. It still looks pretty impressive, and, 405 HP. I think it'll be adequate.

They should have come from the factory with that grille! Looks great. Are you using the NAG automatic 5 speed gearbox? You probably know Mercedes designed it. Indestructible! I have one in my OT Challenger. Great build!

I keep finding things I’m not happy with, the right side is DONE. Doors adjusted and gaps even (no small task on a ‘52) and the grinder marks are DA’d off. Moving around the car, it’s on to the hood and grill opening.

Brian, You weren't using the DeWalt to set your door gaps were you? Saw the saw in the picture when you said you set the door gaps and kinda threw up a little!

 

LOL, no I was cutting wood for the bracing and door jambs for the roadster. So, yeah, maybe kinda! I have to make stops on the jamb for the door to close against, I haven't figured out how to do that yet, but it'll get done.

 

Wouldn't that be nice? My buddy Brandon got one from this guy, who did his '48 Pontiac 'vert, and then his '27 roadster, so maybe!
