    from the pix it looks like you used a '28-'29 subfloor... tudor as the heavy rear crossrail has a L-R bow to it... the '30-'31 coupe has an almost flat one... don't bow your lower panel to match it... get the correct crossrail… sorry they are $300 new...

    It uses heat from friction......
    Here's a video, quality is a little poor, but you'll get the basics.

    Brought this crown back too with the help of the shrink disk.....caved in with a crease down half the length....just a little tweaking with the slap file and it’ll be ready for a thin swipe of filler.....have a great weekend fellas!!! IMG_0354.JPG

    Yay!!!! Aaron.....you are the man! It finally came and I could not be happier with it!! Thanks man....you came through!
    I’m splicing in the wood over the door....money saved will go towards other things needed for the project. Old skids all over the place, so I made up a piece using the old one as a template....it’s offset and I’m going to dowel it.....thanks for stoppin’ by fellas!!! IMG_0366.JPG IMG_0365.JPG

    ps.....make sure you keep an eye on that steering column oil level.....:D:D

    Thanks. Lots of stuff got in the way. That's a real funny. Good friend diligently helping noticed oil running down the column. Of course he acknowledged on start up that the oil pressure was good, but the steering column was leaking oil. Had a hard time convincing him that the column had no oil and it was coming from the gage line directly above. We had a great laugh.
    Your ride is dynomite!!! Love watching it coming together. Love the yellow too.

    More sheet metal work! The floor drops off, that’s why the gap towards the rear.....I’m starting assembly of the body tomorrow......any other work can be done after it’s together! There’s light at the end of the tunnel! Thanks for hangin’ with me fellas!! IMG_0427.JPG

    Thanks Aaron! I still have the quarter ends to install as well. I was a little long on the subframe, so I had to cut it down 3/4". I still need to square up the right rear corner. Onward and upward!
