Gentlemen, Would someone be able to tell me which months of HRM had the McMullen 32 roadster? To be specific I’m looking for chassis pics of when it still had the Ford trans....if those even exist. Thanks in advance Scott Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Is that the actual car?? The interior shot sure looks like it! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
It's the real car. I have over 200 pictures of it. I worked for the guy that had Roy restore it. Use to take it out every month for a short drive. Ron
Oh wow! That is awesome! Thank you Ron! I really appreciate it. By chance could you post a few engine pictures and then I should be done bugging you! Scott Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Scott.. Here are a few of the engine. I have more detailed shots, if you want. Bug me anytime, no problem . Ron
Also, the August and September, '64 issues of "Popular Hot Rodding" had some extensive in-the-day photos of the car.
Wow! Ron, could you start a thread with your pics? Maybe add a few at a time just to tease us. Any or all would be greatly appreciated, Carp.
Thank you Ron! What a neat car! I can only imagine what kind of quality it was back in the early 60’s! John Milner would have definitely had a hard time beating this one. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
My copy of Hotrod April 1963 arrived in the mail. 151 mph at the dry lakes and 11.59 with a 127 mph at the drags is pretty darn impressive! And through a Ford 3spd even! It is funny how the article refers to the roadster as “traditional!” Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Paint work and striping by CA's best, Art Himsel(spel) & ? The album cover shots, the parachute launch on a back street.
Thanks for posting. It's one of my all time favorite pure hot rods... ...except for the electric fan...
