Mental Cruelty

 

Interesting.
Someone had high standards. Whomever did the rollcage addition, note the lower supports...they are curved, not straight. To not only make the curved bars (like the upper/center bar), but the fitting for welding takes longer. Looks like the upper weld is or is close to a 90° fit, but the lower weld id not.
It would have been easier to just stick in a straight bar rather than to have to do the weld fit-ups AND get the bars situated with the "curve" of all three support bars the same.

While not legal by today's standards, I do admire their efforts to update their cage esthetically.

How old was that ad? It appears the left side header is missing. It was here in Texas in 2015.

 

It looks to me like the zoomies are pointed straight at the camera.

 

I like the story on the display board. Some times it's hard when you loose a loved 1, to move forward with something like the Altered. I'm glad it was preserve with the story. People never really gone if you have memories and stories to tell. And a smile on your face.

Been looking for a tube bending place around NE Ohio. Need 1.5"od .134 wall at 90 degrees. Anybody got something?
