Just wanted to share my project and thank Clayton for all his help and hard work. Making real progress now! 6 years in the making. Started with the tub - less a driver door and decklid to now. Found a 59AB locally with two stuck valves. Got them unstuck - good compression. Changes the gears from 4:11 to 3:55. Went through everything added juice brakes. If this car could only talk. The body tells of a horrific event. Clearly rolled over slid on the right cowl and riddled with large caliber shots from both sides. Bet me hell yes it's getting a splash of holy water before it gets those new shoes on the street. But we are getting there. Hope to see you on the road in CA next year. Later!

Very cool. What’s the story on the body, where did you find it?

There’s a lot of wood in these. What’s the plan? Replace with wood or steel?

Bay Area CA Craigslist ad. Called nonstop one weekday night. Buddy calls - Hey Ron what's up? He says - You filled my in box. Is that body yours? i asked. Ron had a habit of buying whole estates of A and T stuff. Made a deal and as he was leaving guy says hey - throw that on the pile FREE. He did and I picked it up from him for a song. Right place right time. Been collecting parts to build it since. That was 6 years ago.

Brads woodshop for the wood. The B pillar was so bad we used square tube steel instead. Brad is the quintessential gentleman.

Very nice, a 33 deluxe trunk car, most were rumble seats. You wont be needing a cowl vent screen however, first year was 34. Awesome work, well worth it.

Awesome! Hopefully the bullet holes are from target practice while the wreck sat somewhere and not the reason for the rollover!

Drivers quarter looks to be a real challenge. Are you going to save it or replace it with an SAR?

Lots of Holy water before getting on the road for sure. I’m going to leave it alone for now. Maybe some satin clear. Clayton has a quarter panel he made in a class that will probably end up on this one. Almost ready to fire. Then off to upholstery. I’m stoaked.

Down to the punch list. Very exciting! A big THANK YOU to all the HAMBER's that provided parts, knowledge and advice. I think she turned out better than planned. Her name shall be known as "Lana". As in zug zug. LOL Caveman movie with Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach R33.jpg
